Tickets

  • Price per one (1) ticket: $5.00
  • Five (5) tickets: $20.00
  • Forty (40) tickets: $100.00

There is no limit to the number of tickets sold or purchased. All purchases must be made in cash. All purchases are final—no refunds or replacements.

Sales Period: August 7, 2026 – October 2, 2026 (“Entry Period”).

  • Ticket sales end 7:00 p.m. EST on October 17, 2025.
  • The Band Boosters reserve the right to shorten or extend the Entry Period.
  • Tickets will be drawn at random from a drum containing all eligible entries.
  • The drawing is open to the public, but winners do not need to be present to win.
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Eligibility

  • Purchasers and prize claimants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents, age 18+.
  • Tickets may not be purchased in the name of a business, trust, or corporation.
  • Ineligible parties: Northrop Band Booster Executive Board members, and their immediate family members living in the same household.
  • Offer void where prohibited by law.

Prizes & Drawing

  • Grand Prize: One-half (½) of the gross sales of all eligible tickets.
  • The other one-half (½) supports the Northrop Big Orange Pride Marching Band.

Drawing Date & Location

Claiming Prizes

  • Winners must contact the Band Boosters at northropbandboostertreasurer@gmail.com within 30 days of the drawing date (by November 2, 2026).
  • Winner must complete and submit IRS Form W-9 before receiving winnings.
  • Winner must present a valid state-issued photo ID.
  • Failure to contact, prove eligibility, or submit required forms will result in forfeiture.

Publicity Requirements

  • Winners must sign a Declaration of Eligibility confirming they are 18+.
  • Winners consent to use of their name, likeness, photograph, or statements for promotional purposes.

Ticket Purchasing Locations

  • From Northrop Band Booster members.
  • At all Northrop Home Football Games and other sporting events.
  • At additional events or retailers (dates/locations announced via website & Facebook).

Rules & Authorization for Use

By purchasing a raffle ticket, participants agree:

  1. To be bound by all rules and decisions of the Band Boosters.
  2. Their names/likenesses may be disclosed for publicity purposes.
  3. Winner names may be requested by mail:
    • Northrop Band Boosters, 7001 Coldwater Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.

Release by Participants

Participants release the Northrop Band Boosters and the Northrop Band Programs from all liability related to participation or prize acceptance.

The raffle is not affiliated with:

  • Northrop High School
  • Fort Wayne Community Schools
  • Teachers, administrators, or employees

Tax & Legal Disclaimers

  • Raffle tickets are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
  • Winners are responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes.
  • Required IRS forms (W-2G, 941) will be filed.
  • The Band Boosters may withhold taxes as required by law.
  • Winners are strongly advised to seek professional legal and tax advice.
